dc.description.abstractThe following study investigate the secondary education teachers' role in the encouragement of the social skills of the students with Special Learning Disabilities. The Special Learning Disabilities are a crucial factor in the appearance of social and behavioral problems of the students due to the disappointment and frustration they experience during their academic progress. The results of this study demonstrate that the students face difficulties in communicating with their classmates, which lead to the creation of problematic relations with their peers. Moreover, the students' social skills present deficits as they have difficulty in completing their group assignments and in managing their intense emotions.en_US
