Abstract: In this paper we present a web environment implementing the cascading citations paradigm. The pilot implementation consists of three components, the Universal Author Identifier system (UAI_Sys), the Cascading Citations Indexing Framework system (c2 IF_Sys) and the c2 IF algorithm. The inner functionality of the c2 IF algorithm lies beyond the scope of this presentation, comprising the topic of a separate paper. In this respect, the focus here is on UAI_Sys and c2 IF_Sys. The two components are implemented as web applications, and they co-function by utilizing web services.
