dc.description.abstract | This article proposes a conceptual model to analyse the role of quality orientation andcollaborations infirms’management innovation, and also the impact of management inno-vation to product, process and marketing innovation. Moreover, the analysis considersorganisational size as a key moderating factor in order to investigate whether the relationshipsamong the model factors vary between small and medium sizefirms. To achieve theseobjectives an empirical survey was conducted among 429firms. The structural relationshipsamong the latent factors were determined through SEM. Thefindings show that the proba-bility of success increases whenfirms use quality orientation and collaboration to supportmanagement innovation efforts. In addition, thefindings suggest that management innovationpositively affects product, process and marketing innovation while the organisational sizeacts as a moderator in the relationships among quality orientation, collaborations, manage-ment innovation,—product, process and marketing innovation, respectively. | en_US |
