| Επιτομή: | In our previous research we have presented a framework for the development and deployment of web-based applications. The framework enables the operation of multiple applications within a single installation and supports runtime evolution by dynamically recompiling classes based on the source code that is retrieved from the database. The feasibility of our solution has been successfully verified with the use of an architectural prototype. Given the importance of the maintenance activities in the software lifecycle, in this paper we are going to evaluate our framework as a software maintenance tool and position it in the domain of software evolution with a use of a related taxonomy. |
